A dramatic and unusual necklace. According to Inuit legend, the play of light seen in Labradorite is caused by aurora borealis or 'northern lights' trapped within the gemstone. The muted green, gold and blue colouring will show an almost magical metallic irridescence when the light catches it, making this a remarkable piece. Ovals of Labradorite, spaced by Pyrite, also know as 'fool's gold', meet at a centrepiece drop showing beautiful colouration. An oval sterling silver fastener harmonises with these shapes.
Labradorite ovals (20 x 15mm) and centre drop (40 x 20mm) spaced by Pyrite (5mm and 4mm)
Sterling silver oval toggle clasp
